Created for CR Fashion Book, ‘Entropy’ has been made by NYC Agency Swell. Defined by the Encyclopedia Brittanica as “…the measure of a system’s thermal energy per unit temperature that is unavailable for doing useful work” the short leverages digital technology to showcase fashion in a highly refined manner. Perfect synchronization of music and camerawork allows the film to deliver the narrative in an ‘precise’ way, engaging the viewer.

Ten separate shots create a video showcasing a fashion dinner feat on steadicam using a Red Epic Camera. Alteration of the shots and the addition of new elements such as flames, pearls, glass and dust particles are all conducted in post-production. The result is refreshing, striking and will push the boundaries of the traditional fashion ‘look book’,  for good.
