Nike has launched a new platform that enables customers to use their favorite Instagram photos to transform a pair of trainers. Nike PHOTOiD, a HTML5 app, lets you select a photo and then it applies colours from the image to Air Max shoes (Nike Air Max 1 iD, 90 iD or 95 iD).
The custom trainers are based on the available NIKEiD colour palette for each shoe. The Nike PHOTOiD design can then be shared through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Google+ and back to Instagram. You can also purchase the individualised Air Max shoes, which will arrive within four weeks.
