Last month, the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, Wales, hosted World Stage Design 2013, an extraordinary ten day festival of performance design from the world of theatre, opera, ballet as well as public performances and installations in non-theatre spaces.

At the centre of the event was a major international exhibition, featuring the work of over 100 designers from across the globe, including Michael Pavelka who represented the UK.
